I am a UKCP registered Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with a clinical practice within the NHS in Scarborough and Eskdale. I have many years experience working with children and young people both as Counsellor and also previously as a Social worker. I work to the UKCP and BACP Codes of Ethics and Practice and provide a professional, confidential service.

I believe that emotional difficulties are best addressed as early as possible and that healing is most effective when an holistic approach is used. I use a variety of methods in my work including play therapy and creative media such as paint, clay, puppets etc.

If you would like to discuss a possible referral I would be very happy to meet for an initial assessment. If counselling is not appropriate I would be happy to suggest alternative options.
